Why not cook a delicious steak a little differently? Cut it in thin strips, marinate for a few hours in sweet soy, peanut oil, lime juice, garlic and chilli, put it on skewers in a wave style fashion. BBQ and serve with satay sauce and fresh coriander. Hmmm, so good! Dinner idea? 😋

SPLASH PHOTOGRAPHY... Oh I love thee! 🧡 I final $SPLASH PHOTOGRAPHY... Oh I love thee! 🧡 I finally took the time to play with my b-day present (from 2023...), the @miopstrigger. And let me tell you, for splashes, it's a game changer!!! . For this shot I set up a laser in the path of the piece of orange I dropped into the glass. When the laser got interrupted by the falling orange piece, it automatically triggered the shutter of my camera. Every single shot was a great splash!!! Goodbye to wasting time with 300 takes, trying to hit the shutter with one hand (or foot) while throwing an object at the same time. Another Aussie plant that we should see and eat more is the Lilly Pilly. It's a super hardy native tree, with an abundance of edible fruit the size of a cherry.

They are sweet-tart, and the texture is a bit crisp, like an apple. They make excellent relishes (photo 1) and jams (photos 2+3).
